Lesbian Visibility

Edited by Birthe Havmoeller

Dear Reader,

Happy lesbian visibility week. I hope this newsletter finds you in the mood for a series of artist talk videos. Ulrike Ottinger is a German lesbian, international filmmaker and visual artist who spend the first years of her career working as an artist in Paris in the 1960s, before she returned to Berlin where she is based today. Now, she is a 2020 Teddy Award Nominee with Paris Calligrammes a visual essay about the Paris of her youth. I am happy to present her in this newsletter with two videos - the Teddy Award interview (2020) and a masterclass (2018).
