Call for Submissions: QWOCMAP Seeks Films

Press release:

Queer Women of Color Film Festival, June 10-12, 2016

QWOCMAP was founded with a strong commitment to economic justice. For 16 years, we’ve offered a free Filmmaker Training Program to ensure access to the most visible and expensive art form in the world. Our San Francisco International Queer Women of Color Film Festival is also free to guarantee access and build community through films, public discussion and sharing food together. For our 12th anniversary, our Festival Focus “Wages of Inequality: Queer & Trans Dollars and Sense,” explores economic justice through the lens of film.

Please submit your films and help us send this call out far and wide.

We’ll see you June 10-12, 2016 at our 12th annual San Francisco International Queer Women of Color Film Festival!
