Mapping Worlds: Understanding Worlds – Setting Off for the Present

German photographer and queer filmmaker Stefanie Schneider invites you to the opening of a group exhibtion, which she is taking part in at the Villa Merkel/Bahnwärterhaus, Pulverwiesen 25, 73726 Esslingen am Neckar, Germany on June 27, 2010 at 15:00.
The group exhibtion, titled “Mapping Worlds: Understanding Worlds – Setting Off for the Present” – the 8th International Photo-Triennial Esslingen 2010, June 27 – September 19, interrogates world pictures or pictures of this world – from today’s point of view, and from a historical one. Some video works are included in the photography show.
