Molly Landreth Photographs Queer Life in America

Sorry, the video has been taken down.

In the autumn 2009 queer photographer Molly Landreth (USA) was interviewed by Michelle Bonfils about her art project Embodiment: A Portrait of Queer Life In America, which is a ongoing collaboration between her and Australian video artist Amelia Tovey.

Molly discusses her hunger for a more honest representation of the queer communities in USA. She has been on the road photographing the vibrant and happy queer lives of lots of people in small towns and other rural places without a big visual queer community. The first major exhibition of photos and videos is at display in Germany until March 12, 2010.
