Hide/Seek
Jonathan D. Katz is co-curator of the first exhibition about ‘Difference and Desire in American Portraiture’, titled ‘Hide/Seek’, earlier this year at the National Portrait Gallery in Washington DC.

I have already made several posts about this important American exhibition, where for the first time a big national museum has adressed the visualization queerness and homosexuality in American Portraiture. If you are curious about what Jonathan has to say about this subject, then go to my posts: “Curator Jonathan Katz Talks About Some Of The Women Artist at Hide/Seek” and “Jonathan Katz’ introduction to Hide/Seek: Difference and Desire in American Portraiture“.
