Lost and Found – Queerying the Archive – Now in Copenhagen

Lost and found – Queerying the Archive, an international exhibition of queer art curated by Jane Rowley & Louise Wolthers. It is an exibition with film, installation art and photography private memories and experiences that surpass the usual barriers of gender and sexuality. The exhibition is about how history is written or told and what is not told…. Lost and Found presents a series of spectacular, thought-provoking works that address these questions through artistic visions of histories compiled and performed from queer perspectives. You can see the exhibition in Copenhagen, Denmark, this summer – until August 2, 2009.

Lost and Found is Denmark as a part of this summers pride and queer sports events in Copenhagen.

Heidi Lunabba’s Beard Salon

On the weekend of July 25th & 26th passing women (and men) can visit the Finnish artist Heidi Lunabba’s outdoor Barber Salon, choose their own personalised beard, and experience a temporary gender and identity transformation.
