This show will be the first step of her new movie, itself a ghostly medium that Derrida referred to as the science of ghosts, in which Smith will look for the specters of Nadja, Milena and Pascale Ogier&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Doroth\u00e9e Smith&#8217;s press release reads: &#8220;Spectrographies deviendra un road-movie documentaire, une enqu\u00eate articul\u00e9e autour de rencontres avec des fant\u00f4mes, dont cette soir\u00e9e constituera une \u00e9tape. Sur sc\u00e8ne, se succ\u00e8deront un concert pour champ \u00e9lectromagn\u00e9tique, une conversation arch\u00e9onum\u00e9rique avec un spectre digital, une rencontre avec une sorci\u00e8re surexpos\u00e9e et le fant\u00f4me de Nadja, des projections d\u2019archives hant\u00e9es, une promenade amoureuse avec Kafka dans la neige canadienne&#8230;&#8221;<\/p>\n<h2>About Doroth\u00e9e Smith<\/h2>\n<p>Doroth\u00e9e Smith is a young queer photographer and avant garde filmmaker living and working in Paris, Arles, Helsinki and Montreal. She is an upcoming queer artist. She has exhibited her works in France, Italy, South Korea, Belgium, Denmark, Portugal and China.\u00a0Her work is represented by the gallery Les Filles du Calvaire, Paris, and her latest photography book is titled <em><a title=\"L\u00f6yly by Doroth\u00e9e Smith\" href=\"http:\/\/www.femininemoments.dk\/blog\/loyly-a-new-photography-book-by-dorothee-smith\/\">L\u00f6yly<\/a>.<\/em> Doroth\u00e9e&#8217;s career has included a post-graduate degree in Philosophy at the Sorbonne, a degree from the French \u00c9cole nationale sup\u00e9rieure de la photographie (ENSP), the TAIK in Helsinki and then at Le Fresnoy, France.
