Art\u00a9HarmonyHammond\/Licensed by VAGA, New York<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>Harmony Hammond and Francis Cape: Angle of Repose<\/h2>\n<p>Until October 4, 2015<br \/>\nSITE Santa Fe<br \/>\nSanta Fe, NM, USA<\/p>\n<p>Harmony Hammond and Frances Cape present Angle of Repose, as part of the series of exhibitions, 20 Years \/ 20 Shows at SITE Santa Fe, NM. The exhibition is a collaborative installation that is conceived as a conversation between Foreclosure, Cape\u2019s trail of exiled hand-crafted furniture and Flesh Fold #1, Hammond\u2019s large layered near-monochrome painting with it\u2019s skin pulled back to reveal a rawness underneath that must be covered over with the poultice of paint. \u201cAngle of repose\u201c is a term used by engineers to describe the steepest angle to which a material can be piled without collapsing. The works of sculptor Cape and painter Hammond reflect on the precarity\u2014financial, political, social and emotional\u2014of our lives.<\/p>\n<h2>Traveling to:<\/h2>\n<p>Katzen Arts Center, American University, Washington, DC.
