The 2018-2019 Queer|Art|Mentorship Annual opens with a public reception on Thursday, November 1 from 7-10pm, hosted by performance and theater artists Mashuq Mushtaq Deen and Xandra Nur Clark, who have worked closely together throughout the past year as Mentor and Fellow. The reception will also occasion the production and preview of the 2019 Queer|Art Community Portrait Project, presented as part of an annual series of newly commissioned portraits spotlighting Queer|Art\u2019s diverse and vibrant community of over 150 artists. This year\u2019s commission was given to photographer Lola Flash<\/a>.
