She had talent and was a successful artist. On one the photos of her I see a young butch woman, who kept her hair short and Jorunn Veiteland says that Ambrosia lived together with Mary Banks (an\u00a0English woman)\u00a0for 33 years. Late Ambrosia and Mary are both buried in the same grave in Bergen, Norway.<\/p>\n<h2>Jorunn Veiteberg gives a talk about Ambrosia T\u00f8nnesen<\/h2>\n<p>January 19, 2010 in Litteraturhuset, Kverneland (2.etasje), Wergelandsveien 29, Oslo, Norway at 18:00-20:00 hrs.<br \/>\nEverybody is welcome. She did her MA in art history in 1982 and PhD in 2000. She has worked as a critic, an independent curator and head of arts in Norwegian Broadcasting\/Television.
