Her work explores how images and identity are constructed, especially in representations of history and the landscape, working with film, photography, installation and sound.&#8217; &#8211; Turner Contemporary Exhibition Video (2022)<\/p>\n<h2>About Ingrid Pollard and the Exhibtion<\/h2>\n<p>&#8216;Guyanese-born British artist and photographer <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ingridpollard.com\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ingrid Pollard<\/a>&#8216;s Turner Prize-nominated exhibition <a href=\"https:\/\/turnercontemporary.org\/whats-on\/ingrid-pollard-carbon-slowly-turning\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Carbon Slowly Turning<\/a> is being exhibited at the gallery this summer (9 July &#8211; 25 September 2022). Created In partnership with MK Gallery, Milton Keynes, this is the first exhibition to fully explore Pollard\u2019s experimental works, from the 1980\u2019s to the present day. Ingrid Pollard is a British artist and photographer. Her work uses portraiture photography and traditional landscape imagery to explore social constructs such as Britishness or racial difference. Pollard is associated with Autograph, the Association of Black Photographers.
