Hyder writes, &#8216;From my first real b&#038;w film camera bought in 1969 through my latest images in the digital age, I work from a vision mentored by an earlier age of photography and now honed through years of looking through a lens.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve done everything &#8216;by the seat of my pants&#8217; from taking \/ developing \/ printing my work to learning how a gallery runs with the Vida Gallery Collective at the SF Women&#8217;s Building (mid 80s).
