As a young lesbian Alison wanted to see pictures of what dykes look like and she starte drawing. Other people liked her drawings, so she has been drawing cartoons since the early 1980’ies. She has her own magazine titled ‘Dykes to Watch Out For’.
\nIn\u00a0the above\u00a0video cartoonist Alison Bechdel,\u00a0USA,\u00a0talks about her book ‘Fun Home: A Family Tragicomic’, which has a lot of intimate biographical material in it. The book was Time Magazines number one book of 2006 and got it a lot of attention.<\/p>\n
