She discusses her works that explore the interconnectedness of waste, technology, and (queer) culture. <\/p>\n<p><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hausderkunst.de\/en\/eintauchen\/shu-lea-cheang-kiss-kiss-kill-kill\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Shu Lea Cheang: KI$$ KI$$ Kill Kill<\/a><\/em><br \/>\nthrough July 3, 2025<br \/>\nat Haus der Kunst in Munich, Germany<\/p>\n<p>The first institutional survey exhibition of Shu Lea Cheang (b. 1954, Tainan, Taiwan) takes the taiwanese-american artist\u2019s first feature film <em>Fresh Kill<\/em> (1994) as a starting point, presenting the artist and filmmaker\u2019s world-building practices and updating works from the past three decades. The title is a warning so that we will not kill our environement.<\/p>\n<p>Shu Lea Cheang&#8217;s moving image works walk a line between art, film and pornography.
