After a short introduction in French the event continues in English.<\/p>\n<p>The conversation is with Elisabeth Lebovici (art historian and art critic) and Jessica Gysel (editor, writer and organizer) &#8211; in the context of the integral Chantal Akerman retrospective that took place between March and July 2024 at the Royal Film Archive of Belgium (CINEMATEK) &#8211; was organized in collaboration with the Fondation Chantal Akerman.<\/p>\n<h2>Chantal Anne Akerman (1950-2015)<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Chantal_Akerman\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Chantal Anne Akerman<\/a> was a Belgian film director, screenwriter, artist, and film professor at the City College of New York.
