Art Gallery Explorer takes us through the retrospective exhibitions. Surealist artist Ithell Colquhoun&#8217;s works start at 16:17 min. The exhibition(s) run through October 19, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>One of the most radical artists of her generation, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ithellcolquhoun.co.uk\/the_artist.htm\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ithell Colquhoun<\/a> was an important figure in British Surrealism during the 1930s and 1940s. Biographer Amy Hale and Tate Modern (which houses the entire collection of Colquhoun\u2019s works in their collection) agree that Ithell Colquhoun was a bisexual so you can do a queer reading of Ithell Colquhoun\u2019s oeuvre.
