Inspired by the biography, Marina jumped into a journey to experience the artist\u2019s works face-to-face. She travelled to Hampstead (London), Brighton and Steyning (West Sussex) where Gluck spent important periods of her life. Later the film-essay \u201cGluck: At First Glance\u201d got made with Martin Pel, a co-curator of the exhibition \u2018Gluck: Art and Identity\u2019 (2018, Brighton Museum), sharing curious details about Gluck\u2019s art works. Financially independent and somewhat freed from social convention, Gluck highlighted her sexual identity, cutting her hair short and dressing as a man, and the artist is known for a powerful series of self-portraits that played with conventions of masculinity and femininity.
