The Purple Wedding Team has won the right to continue with their plans. Today they have\u00a0announced\u00a0that the LA Parks and Rec Department has withdrawn its cancellation of\u00a0Annie Sprinkle and Elizabeth Stephens\u00a0wedding performance, so the sixth wedding performance\u00a0Purple Wedding to the Moon\u00a0by Annie and\u00a0Beth\u00a0is on!<br \/>\nThe performance takes place\u00a0\u00a0at the Farnsworth Amphitheatre in Altadena, LA,\u00a0California USA on October Oct 23, 2010.<\/p>\n<p>Sprinkle and Stephens explain in a press release, \u201cWe are lovers, not fighters, but we had no choice except to fight this. We tried to find other venues but nothing appropriate was available on such short notice. Family and friends are flying in from all over the US, and overseas, there was no way we could change the date. We\u2019re very happy to have Farnsworth Park Amphitheater back. It\u2019s beautiful and we love the mountain setting. Now that there is peace in the land we can finally start to write our vows and spread the love. And if you are coming to the wedding, please car pool.
