It presents feminist, gendercritical and queer performance art by over 120 artists and artist collectives from the 1960s to the beginning of the 1980s, as well as contemporary positions. The exhibition is Denmark now:<\/p>\n<p>Re.Act.Feminism #2<br \/>\nMuseet for Samtidskunst<br \/>\nRoskilde, Denmark<br \/>\nJune 15 \u2013 August 19, 2012<br \/>\n<a title=\"www.reactfeminism.org\" href=\"http:\/\/www.reactfeminism.org\" target=\"_blank\"> www.reactfeminism.org<\/a><\/p>\n<p><code>Performance Artist Line Skywalker Karlstr\u00f6m<\/code><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-7498 alignright\" title=\"KARLSTROM-todanceaprison\" src=\"http:\/\/www.femininemoments.dk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/KARLSTROM-todanceaprison.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"166\" \/>Three of Swedish artist and queer woman Line Skywalker Karlstr\u00f6m&#8217;s performance videos has been selected for the archive and Re.Act.Feminism #2 touring exhibition. Line is based in Denmark and uses different locations in the countryside for her performances. Her videos are:<\/p>\n<p><em><a title=\"Queens Deers\" href=\"http:\/\/www.femininemoments.dk\/blog\/performance-queens-deers\/\">Queens Deers<\/a><\/em> (2004) &#8211; a Beckett&#8217;s crash course on feminist art history, performed by an unsuccesful elk for an audience of absent deers.<\/p>\n<p><em>Screaming Mountains<\/em> (2007) &#8211; documents the last performance made by the group of High Heel Sisters. See photo below.<\/p>\n<p><em>To Dance a Prison<\/em> \/ <em>At Danse Et F\u00e6ngsel<\/em> (2010) \u00a0&#8211; is a semi improvised dance at the (building) site of a future prison and a physical ritual meditation about dominance, transformation and restriction. She is based in Denmark. She was a member of the feminist performance group High Heels Sisters and she is also a founding member of the group of Swedish artist activists, The YES!
