\nThe pride exhibition Art is So Gay<\/a> opens on June 26, 2012 at the Forum Box gallery in Helsinki, Finland. This mixed curated group exhibition runs through July 22, 2012. In my\u00a0post<\/a>\u00a0about the exhibition I present works by out artists Emma Helle, Heidi Lunabba and Laura Lilja.<\/p>\n

\nReMix: ReFraming Appropriation<\/strong>
\nCurator Jonathan D. Katz (USA) has been invited to make a remix of queer artists \u2013 a reunion of Queer Cultural Center (QCC) Visual Artists. The exhibition runs thru June 26 at SOMArts Main Gallery, San Francisco, USA.

\nRe.Act.Feminism #2, a performing archive is a continually expanding, temporary, and living performance archive travelling through six European countries from 2011 to 2013. Zanele Muholi – Faces & Phases<\/a><\/strong>
\nZanele Muholi (South Africa) presents a series of her astonishing portraits \u2013 a wall of 60 large-scale lesbian and transgender subjects from several African countries. These works are part of the ongoing Faces and Phases<\/em> project in which Muholi seeks to bring visibility to LGBTQ communities of Africa.<\/p>\n
\nTejal Shah (India) participates in dOCUMENTA 13 with her new multi-channel video installation, Between the Waves<\/em>. The work is composed of performative film, text, animation and the spacialisation of sound. If you go to Kassel this summer and arrive by train, you must see her video installation at the Central Railway Station.
