I&#8217;ll be in Berlin July 24 &#8211; 30 for the 2nd International Queer Tango Festival. Let me know if you are available for lunch\/coffee and a chat about queer feminist art in Berlin.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/www.femininemoments.dk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/The-Child-Venus_detail120.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"120\" height=\"124\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Finland: Art is So Gay<\/strong><br \/>\nThe pride exhibition <a title=\"Art is So Gay\" href=\"http:\/\/www.femininemoments.dk\/blog\/group-exhibition-in-finland-art-is-so-gay\/\">Art is So Gay<\/a> opens on June 26, 2012 at the Forum Box gallery in Helsinki, Finland. This mixed curated group exhibition runs through July 22, 2012. They are among the artists, who have been selected for dOCUMENTA 13, the prestigious (mainstream) contemporary art festival in Kassel, Germany.<\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" style=\"margin: 5px;\" src=\"http:\/\/www.femininemoments.dk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/MUHOLI_portrait_120.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"120\" height=\"133\" \/>Zanele Muholi &#8211;<a title=\"Zanele Muholi\" href=\"http:\/\/www.femininemoments.dk\/blog\/zanele-muholi-at-documenta-13\/\"> Faces &amp; Phases<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nZanele Muholi (South Africa) presents a series of her astonishing portraits \u2013 a wall of 60 large-scale lesbian and transgender subjects from several African countries. These works are part of the ongoing <em>Faces and Phases<\/em> project in which Muholi seeks to bring visibility to LGBTQ communities of Africa.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tejal Shah &#8211; Between the Waves<\/strong><br \/>\nTejal Shah (India) participates in dOCUMENTA 13 with her new multi-channel video installation, <em>Between the Waves<\/em>. The work is composed of performative film, text, animation and the spacialisation of sound.
