GendErotica 2013 contamination of queer art Fem!<\/h2>\n

Rome, Italy, May 31st – June 2nd
\nat Nuovo Cinema Palazzo and at Teatro Valle Occupato <\/p>\n

The most international, dissacrating, activist edition of GendErotica. Femme Power and Queer Femininity are the tools that women have for the appropriatation of stereotypes and the creation of autodeterminated gender queer transgressive identities. For the very first time in Italy, we invite you to a new femme-inist queer perspective, to a space open to femmes and their allies.<\/p>\n

On stage<\/h2>\n

for the very first time in Italy, four fabolous Queens: Faux Queen, Femme, feminist Burlesque artist and Vampires will make possible the very first great Femme Show. Louis(e) de Ville and Wendy Delorme (France), Fauxnique (USA), Rosie Lugosi (UK). We are honoured to share the stage with them.<\/p>\n

Short movies and documentaries about desire and her-stories of Faux Queens, Femmes and Queer Femininity by Campbell X (UK), Dulce Garc\u00eca (USA), Suzanne Hillinger (USA), Emilie Jouvet (France), Chriss Lag (France).<\/p>\n

The First Italian Femme Conference<\/h2>\n

One of the most interesting festival events is the very first Italian Femme Conference, hosting lecturers and researchers from different parts of the world; among others our keynote speaker Natacha Chetcuti (sociologist and researcher at the GTM\/CRESPPA-CNRS in Paris ) and Federica Frabetti Senior Lecturer in Communication, Media and Culture at Oxford Brookes University, who will draw some conclusions at the end of the day.<\/p>\n

There is more queerness and feminism waiting for you at GendErotica 2013: djset, performances, amazing artists at the Queer Infection, music, food!!<\/p>\n

All events will be translated into English \/ Italian<\/p>\n
