‘Clifford Chance is again celebrating Gay Pride with a joint art exhibition of gay and lesbian artists in its London and New York offices. The exhibition will be formally launched with receptions in both cities on Thursday 24 June 2010.
Organised by Arcus, the Firm’s lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender employee network, the London exhibition will showcase the works of seven gay and lesbian artists: Paul Ashurst, Nigel Cox, Sadie Lee, Dr Valerie Mason-John aka Queenie, Anja Priska, Maciej Urbanek and Kraig Wilson. The New York exhibition Family Albums brings together artworks by LGBT artists and a series of photographic posters by an LGBT advocacy organisation that explores, celebrates and expand ideas of family and community.
The London exhibition will be held at Clifford Chance’s offices in Canary Wharf and will include a video presentation of works simultaneously being exhibited in the firm’s New York office.’
The pride exhibition in London is curated by Michael Petry, Director of the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), London.
