Dear Reader,
Jubii! I am a queer feminist pioneer! On November 20, 2018, I'll celebrate my 15th anniversary with Feminine Moments. I am so greatful for all the queer women artists whose art projects I have had the opportunity to learn about and share on the art blog. I wish I could invite all of you for tea and cakes at my home, but I guess it is not going to happen as you are all living too far away from Aarhus, Denmark.
Today, I am ready for a high five as this issue of my newsletter is: no. 75 (!)
In the early days of Feminine Moments I read the amazing queer art newsletters by late American lesbian photographer Tee Corinne (1943 – 2006), co-founder and past co-chair of the Gay & Lesbian Caucus (an affiliated society of the College Art Association); she also co-founded the Women's Caucus for Art Lesbian & Bisexual Caucus, and I was much inspired by her work for queer women in the arts. But as a queer feminist newbie I never contacted her. She seemed so much 'out of my league', and it wasn't until much later I published Feminine Moments' first newsletter.
This newsletter presents a selection of my September posts. There are more posts at the website for those who want more. Enjoy!
