Melbourne: Midsumma Fesitval January 15 to February 5 2012

The Programme of the Midsumma 2012 queer arts festival in Melbourne, Australia has been published this week. Midsumma is a federation of arts and cultural events spread over 70 different venues throughout Melbourne. The festival will run from Sunday January 15 to Sunday February 5, 2012. If features a big choice of queer events from visual arts show to performing arts, spoken word, live music, film and social events. I have had a quick look at the visual arts programme and I have spotted a couple of exhibitions, which I am sure that Australian lovers of lesbian art will look forward to visiting.
