Painter Sarah Jane Moon launced two new artist books at her solo exhibition Nature / Nurture in London July 2025. They are now available to purchase online:
Portraits – featuring ten portraits from the exhibition, including Peter Tatchell, Diana Souhami, Dr Ronx, Lucy Spraggan and others, with an essay by Diana Souhami.
Place – a new collection of landscape, flora and fauna paintings offering a vibrant depiction of Aotearoa New Zealand’s Bay of Plenty region through a distinctly autobiographical lens.

Sarah Jane Moon is a New Zealand born British painter who specialises in portraiture and figurative painting. Her work explores identity, gender and connection to place. Working at scale, her paintings are suffused with bold colour, dynamic surface and gestural use of her chosen medium: oil.
