The Rose

You all know the famous lecture of the Buddha as he holds a rose in his hand, and Ananda smiles, and everybody goes to Ananda and says, what did you see? We saw a rose. Ananda [Buddha’s companion and disciple] says, I saw the rose, but I also saw rainbows, sunshine, earth and water, wind and air. I saw the infinite void and I saw the whole universe… pretending to be a flower. – told by Deepak Chopra
