Matchmaking in the Archives

Video (1:04:14): Sinister Visdom (magazine) has invited interdisciplinary artist and teacher E.G. Crichton to talk about her project Matchmaking in the Archive. She paired artists with archives held by the GLBT Historical Society in San Francisco and curated an exhibition of the work in response to these archives. Crichton is joined by artists Chris E. Vargas, Nancy Stockwell and TT Takemoto.

About E.G. Crichton

Rutgers University Press writes, ‘E.G Chricton is an interdisciplinary artist living in San Francisco, California. Her projects have been exhibited in Asia, Australia, Europe, and across the United States. Crichton is a Professor Emerita at the University of California Santa Cruz, and served as Artist-in-Residence at the Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender Historical Society from 2008 to 2014.’
