Eva Dixon in her Studio

Video 30:14): Just because you’re thinking it, doesn’t mean we can see it.’ Artist interview with self-identified lesbian Eva Dixon by Timestamp 2025.

Eva Dixon

Eva Dixon is an Australian-born, London-based artist whose work spans collage, assemblage, and sculpture. She creates using found and reclaimed materials; ratchet straps, maps, hosepipes, metal, textiles, transforming everyday objects into inventive, tactile structures. Dixon’s practice blurs the line between fine art and the trades, approaching their studio as a workshop where every surface becomes a site of experimentation and problem-solving. Their process is physical and instinctive, involving drilling, cutting, stitching, gluing, and balancing objects that hover between painting and sculpture.’ – Timestamp
