About the Book, “Sea(see) is a photographic documentation of a relationship over the course of a year. This work was an opportunity for me explore and express my female gaze upon female body. I was able to claim my power in that, and she was able to claim her power in how she expressed herself with me, and for the camera; to be seen over and over again in many ways. The pausing and stillness of time let me contemplate, re visit and attempt to understand my partner. Being intimate with the female body was new to me; informing the cut offs of the figure and concentration on shoulders, the back, crotch, butt and legs which allowed me to evaluate, compare and comprehend. The ambiguity of her masculinely feminine figure made her body that much more intriguing, familiar, yet unfamiliar.”

NB! The fact that an artist is mentioned in Feminine Moments’ bibliography it is of course no guaranty that she will be lesbian, bisexual or queer tomorrow, nor that the authors of the above books are “out and proud” in their writings…
