Clarity Haynes: ‘Equity and Awareness in the Arts’ – lecture series

‘Clarity Haynes is a New York-based artist whose painting practice centers on the body, queer feminist resistance, and the archive. Her work has been widely exhibited, including at Denny Dimin Gallery in New York, presented by New Discretions; the National Portrait Gallery in Washington, DC; The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts; Kniznick Gallery at Brandeis University; and Mana Contemporary in Jersey City, NJ. She has received awards from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation, the New York Foundation for the Arts, the MacDowell Colony, and the Corporation of Yaddo.
